Heartwood is a transitional residence operation. We rent homes and provide a bed for people going through a transition or recovery. We have strict rules and regulations for our residents and zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol.

Lower risk of damage to your house

We have an in-house lead that we communicate with daily, we personally visit the house on a regular basis, and have cameras outside and in common areas to monitor activity.

Payments on time, every time

With Heartwood Housing, we work with government agencies and organizations that automatically pay the bed fee on the first of the month. We also have a 6-month reserve.

Residents adhere to strict house rules

House rules cover being a good roommate, respecting the house, and staying sober. Breaking rules have consequences including immediate dismissal.

Good neighbor policy

We have a strict “respect the neighbors” policy that we enforce. Residents adhere to a curfew and quiet time (8:00 pm to 7:00 am). Our live-in house lead, mandatory check-ins, and our security cameras ensure that these rules are adhered to.

Zero-tolerance of alcohol and drugs

Many residents we accept have already gone through an intense treatment program. These residents take weekly and random drug tests. Positive drug test results in immediate dismissal from the house.

Longer leases

We are passionate about helping people. Our residents want to stay with us longer to ensure long-term success in their transition.

No need for a property manager

We take care of all issues up to $1,000 in the house, require that the house is clean and clutter-free which keeps the house move-in ready at all times.
